EVERY TRADE. EVERY TALENT. ONE STORY.

Your active work should be winning the next job.

Site/Story helps neighbors find local contractors and subcontractors through work happening nearby. Your credited role and contact links give them a concrete place to start when planning their own project. Site/Story turns real projects into a portfolio people can explore. A project sign invites people to scan and follow the transformation. The story introduces every business behind it, including professionals whose expertise is hidden in the plans, below ground, or inside finished walls.

Turn attention into action.

Connect yard signs, proposals, social posts, and jobsite visitors to one evolving story.

Show the process.

Before-and-after photos are useful. The decisions, craftsmanship, and people in between build trust.

Share the credit.

Civil engineers, specialty trades, suppliers, designers, and contractors receive visible credit for their roles, giving viewers a direct path to the right professional.

Skip the content headache.

Send the facts and photos. Site/Story organizes the public-facing story.

WHY SITE/STORY?

Every trade. Every talent. One story.

You see the project. We show you who made it possible.

Behind every finished space is work you may never notice and professionals you may never know to ask about. Site/Story brings them into the story, from civil engineers and specialty trades to designers, contractors, and suppliers.

A traditional business website tells one company’s story. Site/Story connects a real project to the whole team behind it. One sign and one QR code let people follow the transformation, discover each contributor’s role, and contact the professionals whose work made it possible.

Every contribution deserves credit. Every credited business deserves a path to its next customer.

THE TRADE BOARD

Your next opportunity could be in the neighborhood.

Register your specialties and the towns you serve. The Trade Board organizes local work requests and questions by trade, and your credited project work can help people decide who to contact.

Confirm your email to receive approved Trade Board requests matching your selected trades, towns, and interests. Manage or stop alerts through your private link.

THE CONTRACTOR WORKFLOW

A five-minute update. A story that keeps working.

Contractors should not need another complicated dashboard. After approval, use Builder Studio or your private project link. Progress updates and materials are reviewed before publication; photo, team, and bid-setting changes appear directly on published stories.

THE UPDATE FORM

Made for the jobsite, not a desk.

Open the link on a phone, add a headline, date, short summary, what was completed, what comes next, who deserves credit, products used, and up to six photos. Submit. Done.

Every submission enters the Site/Story admin review queue, where it can be checked, edited, and added to the correct story.

BEYOND THE FRONT YARD

The same curiosity follows commercial transformations.

A new restaurant, bar, boutique, office, hotel, salon, or neighborhood business gets noticed long before opening day. Site/Story lets future customers follow the build while also discovering the contractors, designers, equipment, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and local partners behind it.

Build anticipation before opening.

Turn construction progress into an audience that is already invested in what is coming.

Make every choice discoverable.

Let visitors find the tile, lighting, furniture, equipment, designers, and builders used in the space.

FIRST 5 QUALIFYING PROJECTS

Your remodel or full build. A free sign and project file.

Help launch the Site/Story pilot. The first five qualifying project submissions receive one complimentary standard Site/Story yard sign and one project story file, with no annual renewal fee.

5 of 5 pilot places remain to be awarded.

  • A genuine remodel or full build, including room renovations, additions, and new construction, that started within the last 60 days or is scheduled to start within the next 30 days, measured when you apply.
  • Two project photos with the dates they were taken, plus a description of progress. Upcoming builds can use dated site or pre-construction photos.
  • Permission to feature the project and share the submitted images.
Apply for a pilot place

One award per person and project. Places go to the first five qualifying submissions in submission order, after Site/Story verifies eligibility. Applying does not reserve a place. The camera system is currently in beta testing and is not a fully available offering. Contact Kristi for beta details. Extra signs are separate and confirmed before purchase. Free pilot stories do not generate paid-story booking credits.

SITE/STORY REWARDS

Give the whole team credit. Earn credit for your next story.

Keep one project price and showcase everyone involved. When a paid project story generates a verified new booking for the GC, a subcontractor, or another eligible contributor, the business that funded the story earns a $25 credit toward its next Site/Story purchase.

One price

Your plan price stays the same. Contributors still receive their normal project credits.

Verified new business

A signed agreement or paid order must come from a new customer who found the business through that Site/Story.

A reason to come back

Earn up to two $25 credits per paid project during its first year. The reward belongs to the verified story purchaser.

Example: a GC funds a project story. A viewer discovers its landscaper and hires them for a different property. Once confirmed, the GC receives $25 toward its next story. The landscaper gains a customer, and the GC benefits from supporting the team.

Pilot program. Credits are reviewed and applied manually to a future Site/Story invoice, with a maximum of $50 per paid story. No cash payouts, automatic awards, or guaranteed bookings. Clicks, estimates, existing project work, duplicate claims, and cancelled bookings do not qualify. Site/Story verifies attribution, the original paid-story purchaser, and booking evidence or customer confirmation. Mortgage and real estate settlement-service referrals are excluded. Paid or incentivized recommendations must be disclosed where applicable.
